Environment Technician
IDI was founded in 1994 to provide engineering services to companies in the chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries.
Since 2011 we have specialized in qualifications of equipment and facilities, based on risk analysis.
We offer a comprehensive engineering service (calculation, design, execution, delineation) and mechanical and control system qualifications.
We need to add a freelance quality and environmental technician to our portfolio of collaborators.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Environmental Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
- Valuable training in management systems, ISO 9001, 14001, 50001.
- Experience in the described functions of at least two years.
FUNCTIONS
- Collaborate in the implementation of environmental measures on site.
- Identification and evaluation of the legal requirements applicable to the project.
- Carry out site visits/inspections.
- Training and environmental information for workers on site.
- Investigation of environmental incidents/accidents.
- Control and resolution of Non-Conformities on site.
- Participate in internal and external audits.
- Control and monitoring of work indicators.
- Preparation and management of project PPIs.
- Monitoring of the Environmental Surveillance Plan of the work.
- Environmental procedures and prior communications.
- Control of waste management and chronological archive. Manage and evaluate any deviation that takes the company outside of what is established in the applicable regulations.
- Prepare all documentation and tasks related to waste production and management, such as: storage plans, contact with authorized managers, minimization plans, annual management reports, communication of PRTR data, etc.).
- Prepare environmental risk analyzes and develop plans to reduce risk.
- Implement and maintain the company's environmental management system (ISO, EMAS...).
- Design plans for the prevention, control and minimization of atmospheric emissions and noise pollution.
- Process permits and authorizations for discharges.
Prepare training and environmental awareness plans for workers. - Know and apply the applicable regulations in the event of any relevant modification that is intended to be carried out in the industry (increase with new production lines, new activities, changes in treatment capacity, new raw materials to be used, etc.).

The projects would be for the province of Barcelona and, very eventually, for Girona.
